• Translations can be done only if the Original Document is submitted online or as hard copy.

• Translations cannot be done on a photo copy of the original document if it is a certificate, NIC or a Deed as it needs to be certified that the original has been seen and translated.​

• You can easily get the translation in a one off situation, which means you have to come only to collect the hard copy of the translated document.

• If its online, PDF File of document will be sent online and the hard copies will be sent in a protected safe package through Speed Post service charging only for packaging materials, collection and delivery fee. 

• If visiting to collect documents, distance is only about 10 minutes from Kaduwela Town junction and easily accesible through Outer Circular Highway Kothalawala Exit. Directions below.

 What has to be done-

• Call the mobile number 071 2360536 or through whatsapp and contact​ first

• Give your details such as name & contact details over the phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Email, or by using the reply mail below

• you will be given instructions how to send a clear copy of the original document as a scanned copy or as clear photos of the document taken even by a mobile phone and sent through WhatsApp or E-mail 

• Inform if it is on 'Same Day' service or 'Normal Service'. 

• If on 'Same Day Service', after sending the document through WhatsApp or email as photos, it will be translated, typed, certified and will be ready to be collected as Hard Copy. Or else it can be scanned and sent immediately to anywhere in SL or abroad through email. 

• Get directions as to how to go and collect if it is the certified hard copy. 

• It is very important that the translator is satisfied that the image of document sent is from an original document. This can be noted easily by the rubber franks placed in the document.

  • this is because no sworn translator would do any translation from other than the original document and it is handed over physically on the day of handing over the job​

  • most translators always require you to hand over the original document and ask you to come on the following day or later to collect the translation

• As it is not fair to inconvenience the client in the present pandemic situation, it would be done on trust placed on the client that he/she will definitely collect it and settle any dues. No advances will be requested for a few translations as the job is more important and any other matters are secondary.

• Pl. inquire the rates for the job before commencement so that both parties are clear as to the final amounts and no dispute arises later.
